As a Senior Building Consultant, Brian Bailey brings broad knowledge and versatility gained through more than 23 years working in a variety of management roles from the field to the office, from the adjusting of insurance claims to consulting on large loss insurance claims, general contracting, and appraisal work.

Mr. Bailey has a record for successfully developing and implementing measurable, value-added processes that maximize efficiencies, assist in analyzing and implementing billing conflict resolutions, and positively impacting the bottom line. He is proficient in oversight, analysis, and reporting in the areas of labor claims, mitigation, abatement, building restoration, inland marine and docking systems, and assisting through the FEMA claims maze. Mr. Bailey is adept at developing reasonable solutions and estimates in common sense straight forward manner to the swift resolution of disputes when they occur.

During his career, Mr. Bailey has managed, estimated, consulted, monitored and clerked large fire and water claims throughout the U.S. for insurance companies, brokers, attorneys, and private clients. Additionally, he has overseen major capital improvements and insurance claims, implemented single and multi-family repair developments, implemented and overseen effective green building methods, managed construction purchasing, and led on-site work and contractor scheduling.

  • Hurricane Florence

    Consulted and managed damage assessments reaching $40 mil on eleven 300-plus unit apartment and condo communities in the Wilmington area of North Carolina following Hurricane Florence.
  • Hurricanes Harvey & Irma

    Consulted on assessing damages and repair estimates of up to $17 mil in the aftermath of hurricane Harvey and Irma, includes having worked over 15 large losses, including a $6.5 mil loss in Corpus Christi, and a $4.7 mil loss in Florida.
  • High Rise - Salt Lake City, UT

    Consulted on assessing damages and repair estimates for a 14-story high-rise housing county attorneys, public defenders, and various private attorneys. Flooding from the 7th floor down from a broken 4" main, resulting in $4.5 mil in damages.
  • City of Bayonne, NJ

    Consulted on assessing for $50 mil of surge and wind damage costs from Superstorm Sandy to over 40 city-owned sites including police, fire, museums, parks, schools, and City Hall.
  • Calville Marina - Lake Mead, NV

    Consulted on assessment of damage and repair estimates reaching $3 mil. Flash floods moved the marina system 400 feet from original placement near shore, monitored for replacement costs on all marina components, including floats, buildings, fuel, and anchoring systems.
  • Desert Ridge Marriott - Phoenix, AZ

    Consulted and performed Clerk of the Works during the testing, abatement, remediation, investigation for cause and reconstruction of 950 suites and certain other public areas in the hotel.
  • Hurricane Ike

    Consulted in the assessment of wind and water damages, and repair costs of $12 mil for section 8 units following Hurricane Ike in 2008.
