Matt Sutter is a Senior Building Consultant with more than 25 years in the insurance restoration industry.  Matt has extensive experience with small and large commercial losses, cost estimating and managing projects for universities, municipalities, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, hotels, and shopping centers.  Specializing in fire and water restoration, Matt has worked projects in the aftermath of most of the major disasters (fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods) over the past two decades.  Matt also has consulted on many large commercial roofing losses relating to storm, wind, and hail damage preparing site surveys, determination of scope, damage documentation, and replacement cost estimates.

  • 2020 FedEx Supply Chain -  Lebanon, TN

    Warehouse large-loss with damages incurred by the March 2020 Tornado outbreaks around Nashville. Estimated costs to repair damages and worked with the contractor through the process to determine actual costs as incurred.
  • 2020 Iowa Derecho

    Provided consulting, estimating, and project management services for various building losses following the August 2020 Midwest derecho.
  • 2020 Hurricane Losses - Various

    Provided front-line consulting, estimating, and project management services for storm recovery following hurricanes Delta, Laura, Sally, and Zeta in the Gulf Coast.
  • Native American Reservations - IA and KS

    Estimated and ran large roofing projects for Native American reservations, including the Meskwaki Reservation in Iowa and the Prairie Band Potawatomie in Kansas.
  • 2001 World Trade Center Losses - New York, NY

    Aided clean-up in the post 9/11 event, providing restoration and consulting services for losses surrounding the WTC collapse.
