Steve Liles has over 31 years of insurance industry experience working as a senior building consultant, senior insurance claims trainer, and reinspector. Extensive post-disaster experience beginning with Hurricane Andrew, Northridge Earthquake, Hurricane Rita, and Hurricane Ike. Also participating in many hail and tornadic events over the last 31 years.
Steve is an experienced appraiser handling both commercial and residential appraisals. He is a highly skilled estimator and provides detailed analysis and reporting for losses.

11 story building with water damage from RTU‘s that permeated down to lowest level. Loss includes specialty ceilings, walls, and flooring. Negotiated scope and pricing with mitigation and rebuild contractors. Over $850,000. -
5 Building Condo Unit Austin Texas Area 2021
Inspected and completed estimates for 60 individual units across 5 high rise structures. Estimated repairs to the exterior common areas from fire suppression repair access. -
Multi Campus University- Gulf Coast 2020
Team lead for consulting group inspection for three campuses along Gulf Coast after Hurricane Zeta in 2020. Inspected over 150 structures. The campuses had varying types of buildings from small dwellings to major commercial structures. Worked closely with forensic engineer to determine repair values for multiple structures throughout the campuses. -
Hotel - Dallas, TX 2019
Consulted on loss to hotel hit by tornado F-3 tornado in 2019. Tornado affected entire structure requiring extensive repairs. Provided repair values after review of engineering reports. Loss over $3.5 million. -
High Rise Building - Dallas, TX 2019
Led team that inspected multi-story building that was impacted by F-3 tornado in 2019. Prepared repair values that included asbestos abatement, curtain wall, and extensive interior repairs. Over $10 million in repairs.
