Prior  to joining RMC Group Evan had several years’ experience in the insurance industry, working as a claims resolution specialist and claims team manager. He has helped train representatives to serve in reconciling complex weather-based losses.


Evan was recognized as a valuable estimating resource and peer to peer trainer across northern Texas, providing quality and accurate claim evaluations with regular and thorough analysis of policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations applicable for jurisdictional compliance. He has provided litigation assistance for over 300 property claims and prepared professional written communications for both plaintiff and defense council.

  • 2023 School Fire
    Establish a scope of work, price, and period of restoration for a severely fire-damaged elementary school. Over 50% of the building sustained catastrophic damage (Project totaling $8 million).
  • 2023 City Waste Treatment Facility
    Provided valuation, reconstruction, and estimation consultation of a water treatment and distribution systems severely damaged by a tornado. Systems included wastewater treatment, raw water treatment, water towers, and pump stations (Project totaling $11 million).
  • 2022 Hurricane Ian Response - Retirement Community
    Lead a team of consultants on a 195-location mixed residential complex to evaluate wind related damages to hospitals, a golf course, restaurants, single family dwellings, low-, mid-, and high-rise apartments, common areas, and a central chiller distribution facility. (Project totaling $62+ million).
  • 2021 Hurricane Ian Response - Shopping Mall
    Consulted on mitigation, temporary repair and restorations efforts of the 1.1 million sq. ft. shopping mall consisting of 4 anchor locations, 60+ individual shops, restaurants and common areas. (Project Totaling $25 million).
  • 2021 School Fire
    Lead a team of consultants to inspect and establish a scope of work, price, and period of restoration for a severely fire-damaged middle school. Over 75% of the building sustained catastrophic damage to the roof, block structure, brick veneer, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishes. (Project totaling $13.5 million).
  • 2021 Tortilla Chip Plant Factory
    Consulted on severe fire, smoke, and water damage to a tortilla chip manufacturing facility with multiple structures. (Project totaling $5.5 million).
  • 2020 Youth Detention Facility
    Consulted on fire, smoke, and water damage to five structures totaling 166,750 SQFT at the oldest youth detention center in the United States.
  • 2020 Hurricane Sally - High Rise Condominium
    Lead a team of consultants on a 20 Story high rise condo association complex to evaluate and estimate repairs to residential spaces, common areas, and the building exterior. (Project totaling $7.5 million).
  • 2019 Hotel an Restaurant Fire
    Consulted on fire and water damage to 120-year-old structure that had undergone multiple remodels throughout the building’s life. Worked with the State Fire Marshall, City Building inspector and local contractors to ensure compliance with State and Local regulations. (Project totaling $9 million).
