Shawn Young

Shawn Young joined RMC Group in 2022 as an Executive Building Consultant. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction and restoration industries, he has overseen all phases of mitigation, remediation, restoration, and reconstruction projects for insurance, commercial and residential clients. 

Since 2010, Shawn has participated in nearly every major catastrophic event in the U.S. He currently holds the following IICRC certifications: WRT, ASD, CDS, TCSC, and is currently EPA Lead Renovator, and NORMI Mold Remediator certified. Additionally, Shaw currently holds a Florida Mold Remediator License as well as a Florida Certified General Contractor License with unlimited scope throughout the state of Florida.

Shawn is often called upon for expert opinion, risk assessment, estimation assessment, and many other pricing, scoping, and bidding consultations for mitigation and construction due to his vast knowledge and industry expertise.
